Now that you've invested in Hartman garden furniture, we're sure that you'll want to take care of it, but you can rest assured that because of its high quality it is virtually maintenance free.
We have taken our many years of experience within the industry to put together a user friendly set of online tools to help you assemble, look after and maintain your Hartman garden furniture.
Caring for cast aluminium or weave garden furniture
Our entire collection of weave and cast aluminium outdoor furniture can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a sponge or soft brush. Remember to rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. We don't advise abrasive cleaning products.
If your furniture features a firepit, this can also be cleaned using hot soapy water. You can also use a BBQ cleaner and stainless steel wool or nylon scrubber.
Caring for wooden garden furniture
We have developed a cleaning product to clean and make the most of our wood garden furniture.
Hartman Teak Cleaner should be used with a soft brush to remove stains. To retain the colour of the wood use our high-quality teak cleaner and oil. This will really revive the wood and protect it too.
Caring for stone table tops in our range of garden furniture
We have developed a cleaning product to clean and make the most of our stone table tops.
Our specialist stone cleaner is perfect for our stone table tops. By using a soft cloth to remove any stains, the stonework will brighten and look like new. We advise against cleaning agents containing bleach, ammonia, vinegar or citrus, and the use of abrasive scourers or brushes on stone furniture.
Caring for soft furnishings
Cushions and parasols should be stored inside over the winter months for protection, but once you're ready to use them again, brush the fabric over with a soft brush to remove any dust or debris from storage. Check the moving parts of the parasol and apply a lubricant spray if necessary.
